  • Explore and reflect upon available services through SALT
  • Develop a plan on how SALT may be used to manage their educational financing.

Teaching

SALT is a service being offered to KVCC students to help them make better decisions about financing their education and in managing their debt. There are LOTS of services to explore on the SALT website. This course is going to expect you to focus on specific aspects of this service, however, your relationship with SALT will extend way beyond this class!

To get started you need to sign into the SALT website.

Once you are signed in your will receive an email notification at the email you chose to register, and you can enter the site.

For the purposes of this course we are going to have you explore the resources available to you through this website. This will require that you familiarize yourself with the SALT website and enable yourself to navigate to specific resources.

Below, in the ASSESSMENT section are a list of reflection questions that we would like you to answer about specific aspects of this service. Remember, this is to benefit YOU...this is a free service to enable you to manage your finances in the best way...in these days, many of need as much help as we can get!
