Assessment

Lesson 20 Assignment (Discussion)

Here is the situation...you are a rehabilitation professional and you have been tasked with designing posters that both attract and educate young CNAs who are going to be working at a local long-term care facility. Links to each of these "posters" will be sent to each CNAs work email.

Pick ONE of the issues outlined above and create a "Glog". You will be using an online service called Glogster to design your poster. You may have used this tool for our Week 17 assignment. If not, or if you want a refresher, here are the details for getting started with Glogster.

Click HERE to download instructions on how to create a Glogster account and how to create a Glog.

Have fun with the creative angle of this assignment. As more digital tools become available, more workplaces will require that we can use Web 2.0 tools to spruce up our workplace communication and training.

When you have completed your Glog, copy the URL into our L20 Long Term Care Facility Training & Marketing Blog. View and comment on each other's Glog. The Glog is the graded element of this exercise -- specifically how you addressed the concerns for handling one of the listed Psychiatric Conditions in a Long Term Facility in a creative and educational manner. Would your Glog help to allay the fears of a potential employee? and / or prepare them for the workplace?
