Review the resources and watch the crisis intervention role-plays in the lesson. Assess these interviews regarding the material in the preceding lessons (the LAPC model, traits of effective crisis workers, cultural awareness or personal biases, and write a brief paper- one page- re: observations, techniques, strengths and weaknesses of the interviews, and your own personal observations re: what you are seeing.

Where is the closest AA, NA, or other self-help substance use program in relation to your house? How did you find this information? Could someone who needed help with the crisis of substance abuse easily find this information as well?
