Lesson 9 Discussion

In the chapter titled Safety in the book you are presented with a number of case studies of individuals who were traumatized and were then further traumatized be their real or perceived reactions of family and friends. In this discussion I would like you to discuss the interrelationship between a sense of Safety and a sense of Personal Control.

Feel free to examine Control Theory (search the web) for other resources on the importance of a personal sense of control.
