Teaching

This assignment represents an introduction to information literacy as it pertains to the field of mental health. As with all information that we use to guide our decisions, we want to be sure that the information is accurate, valid, and reliable...at time, our very jobs will depend on it!

To this end this assignment will have you select a topic of personal interest related to mental health. We will discuss this in class and an online discussion will be created in the class to maximize the discussion of topic selection.

Your topic will be in the form of a question and your research will be to answer this question. You will be asked to conduct research that will lead you to "peer reviewed" professional resources to answer your question. (Specific resources and tutorials for this are contained in the Resources link in the course website.)
