Presentation Ideas and Resources

Ultimately your project needs to be viewed digitally so there are many ways you can accomplish this.

Below are some ideas and links to resources to inspire you in your project.

Presentation saved as a Movie

  • You can create a slideshow in a program like PowerPoint (Windows or Mac) or Keynote (Mac)...record a narrative and export it as a movie.
  • Movies should be then uploaded to YouTube and shared from there. Do not send the movie files.

Using Online Presentation Software

  • There are two sources of software for online presentation that I have found very user friendly. The links below will take you to tutorial pages on each one.
  • PowToons (this is my preferred one)
  • Prezi

Create an Infographic Document

  • Click HERE to view some professional examples of infographics.
  • Click HERE to check out infogr.am, a great, free online source to create infographic documents.
  • Click HERE for a really good source on how to create infographics in PowerPoint...this is a great site as it has 5 free templates you can use!

Create a Story in Storehouse using an iPad

  • You can borrow iPads from the KVCC Library and get training on how to use Storehouse.
  • You can take pictures, import pictures, add text and graphics (pictures you import after you have created them elsewhere) and movies.

Create Compelling Documents in a Word Processor

  • You can also create compelling documents in a word processor such as Word or Pages. (Be sure to send the file as a PDF if you are using Pages)
  • Each of these programs have very neat templates and you can search the web for templates that will be useful as well.

ULTIMATELY THIS IS AN EXERCISE IN YOUR CREATIVITY
If you have other tools you would rather use then run that by your instructor...get creative!
