Attention

In this lesson we explore the focus of KVCC’s liberal studies program by looking at liberal arts and liberal arts education. Then, we look at how universities and colleges accomplish the aims of a liberal arts education through a general education core.

Upon completion of this lesson's material, students will be able to:

• Explore the choices for accomplishing your academic goals at KVCC
• Explain what is meant by the term liberal arts / liberal arts education
• Explain how universities and colleges have general education requirements
