Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this lesson's material, students will be able to:

  • Identify the course calendar and components of the course syllabus for the semester.
  • Be able to navigate the Blackboard site for this course to locate lessons and homework.

Teaching

This week you going to start becoming familiar will all the components in this course:

1) You will review the Course Navigator to see what the homework assignments are for each week and when things are due.

2) You will log into Blackboard and become with familiar with the locations of the lessons and homework.

3) You will open up the Signature Assignments and read through the instructions to gain an idea of those expectations.

4) Start looking at your textbook and reading the titles of each of the chapters.

5) Locate the National Associate of Social Worker's (NASW) Code of Ethics document in Blackboard and read through the introduction.

We will discuss the compents of the class and the course expectations in class this week.
