KVCC Dual Enrollment Program

While you may not know it, many of you will likely encounter a current high school student or two in your classes this semester. Like other institutions of higher education in Maine, KVCC encourages qualified high school students to participate in our Tuition-Waiver Program.

For a small fee, students who are recommended by their guidance counselors, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, are of Junior or Senior standing, and have the permission of their parents, may take up to six credits per semester at KVCC. Tuition costs are then waived.

Students who successfully complete these courses receive a “jump-start” on their college education and earn high school credit simultaneously.
