TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Oral communication skills are essential in todays market place. Though stage fright is real, the good news is anyone who is willing to learn can! Public speaking is about a basic set of physical skills that through work and practice can be learned by anyone. I emphasize the fundamentals/basics. We tackle this subject with progressive baby steps. If a student will come to class and apply themselves, they will develop skills. We will never maximize our earning potential without effective self expression. The skills a student learns in Com 104 will assist them all of their lives.
